History of Erasmus Mundus and Euroculture Scholarship

The original Euroculture Master was selected in 2005 by the European Commission as one of the first Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses, for which the Euroculture consortium received funding from 2006 until 2011.

This means that, for the second time, in 2011 the programme was selected for a period of 5-year funding in the second phase of the Erasmus Mundus Programme which enables us to cover scholarships for the intakes of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

In 2017, the programme was – for the third time – selected as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD), which enabled us to cover scholarships for the intakes of 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

In early 2022, Euroculture was – for the fourth time – selected as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) and will offer scholarships for the intakes 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Euroculture is currently renewing its grant application for a fifth time, for re-selection under the EMJM framework. The result of our re-application will be known by early-to-mid 2025. In case the result is positive grants will become available for students starting with the 2026-2028 intake.
